ZTE MF289D is a 4G Router with a sim card slot that supports modern mobile networks with frequency Carrier Aggregation. A Router for Those Who Need Fast Internet

● ZTE MF289D can "go online" using a SIM card from any operator. To do this, simply insert the smallest format SIM card (Nano) into the slot located behind the curtain at the base of the device. After that, all connected users will be able to use the Internet using the resource of the common SIM card.

● The built-in modem supports a wide range of LTE frequency ranges, including B1 (2100 MHz), B3 (1800 MHz), B7 (2600 MHz), B8 (900 MHz) and B40 (2300 MHz). A feature of this router is the lack of support for the "low-frequency" range of 800 MHz (B20), which can be used in the networks of some operators. If you turn on the router at a large distance from the base station, where the 4G network does not work, it will automatically switch to 3G / UMTS mode.

We Go Online Via WiFi or A Wired Cable

● You can connect to the router both "over the air" and with a regular patch cord. The ZTE MF289D wireless network supports the 802.11ac standard and creates wireless networks at 2.4 and 5 GHz frequencies. The total WiFi throughput reaches 1.3 Gbps, which guarantees comfortable operation of any online services and data exchange between your devices at high speeds.

● The password for connecting devices via WiFi is indicated on the router nameplate, which is glued to its base. On the back of the case there is a WPS button, with which you can connect new devices quickly and without entering a password.

● Two gigabit Ethernet ports are available for wired connection. One port (LAN) is used to connect any wired device: a personal computer, all-in-one PC, switch, game console, etc. The second port is combined and can be used for both subscriber devices (LAN) and the provider's cable (WAN). If you are connected to a wired provider, then cellular Internet can be used as a backup "just in case".

Boosting the Internet with Antennas

● ZTE MF289D has built-in antennas and works great "out of the box" in areas with reliable cellular reception. However, outside the city, as well as in some types of premises (basements, ground floors, garages, parking lots, the power of the cellular signal may not be enough for fast Internet operation.

● In this case, you can connect a dual external MIMO antenna with a high gain to the router. Such outdoor antennas usually have a directional design and help speed up the Internet in areas of weak mobile coverage. To connect the antenna, there are miniature TS9 inputs on the back of the router.

● The ZTE MF289D case has a desktop design. The device is made in a fashionable "tower" form factor and fits perfectly into modern office designs. On the front side of the router there are LED indicators for power, WiFi and cellular connection, which help determine the current operating mode.

● The router body may have a logo of one of the foreign mobile operators. The presence of such a logo does not mean that the device has any limitations: our products work with any operators in the world.
