This is how you can understand Elon Musk believes in God
- 04 Oct, 2019
I have just watched the Elon Musk when he unveils the SpaceX Starship.
While everybody talks about the new "usable" space ship and the future possibility of a journey to Mars, I want to talk something different. When Elon Musk talks about space ships, we can have a lot of clues about his beliefs and some stuff he said reminded me some religious views and I think he doesn't believe we are hereby a chance.
".... and it is taking a long time for us to get to this point, you know according to the geological records earth has been around for about four and a half billion years although mostly molten magma for about a half a billion years so but still several billion years with at least bacterial life and multicellular life for several hundred million years but here is the interesting part;
the sun is gradually getting hotter and bigger and over time even the absence of global warming (man-made stuff) the Sun will expand and it will overheat the earth. This is on human timescales a long time but there are only several hundred million years left, that's all we got. But thought of evelutionary standpoint basicall if it took an extra %10 longer for conscious life to evolve on earth it wouldn't evolve at all because it would have been incinerated by the Sun. So what I'm saying is consciousness is a very rare and precious thing and we should take whatever steps we can to preserve the light of consciousness and the windows has been open only now after four and a half billion years later. And it might not stay open for long."
So his words about life and how rare it is, made me think that he believes in God and he thinks we are not here by chance. What do you think?
